What happens when you teach both siblings in the same family? Sometimes you learn things you really didn’t need to know. Perfect example: when I arrived at my students’ house this week and was greeted by their mother, then her young daughter (about 5 years old) runs up to me and announces:
I have to go first today, because my brother’s pooping!
Needless to say, her mother was mortified. I was just trying my best not to lose it. With as straight a face as I could manage, I replied, “Well. We’ll let him finish taking care of that then. You can certainly go first today.”
Older siblings, beware. Your business is not always your own…pun intended.
